Plaited Leather Dog Lead Class

Learn basic leather plaiting with tutor Aram Omara while making a handsome leather dog lead. You'll first learn how to use a strander to cut lengths of leather in two contrasting colours, then use a 4-strand technique to plait around a central cord, form a handle-loop and attach a solid brass snap.

Aram has over 40 years of leather-craft experience, and has been teaching classes of all levels and abilities for the last 7 years.

All materials are supplied, and participants will take home a finished plaited dog lead. We provide tea, coffee, biscuits plus endless spring water.
